CALENDAR OF EVENTS - 2009 - 2010

An Annual Outing in
the Torbay Cornish's Calendar is going to Cornwall for the Gathering of
the Bards of the Cornish
Gorsedd on the first Saturday in
September.

All
meetings are held at 7.30 pm the Lounge at the St Matthias Church
Centre, Babbacombe Road,
Wellswood, Torquay unless stated otherwise.
St Matthias Church Centre is opposite the
junction of Babbacombe Road with Higher Warberry Road,
approximately one mile up the hill from the Clock Tower by
Torquay Harbour on the A 379 road towards Teignmouth and some 50
yards from the junction of Babbacombe Road with Ilsham Road which
leads to Kents Cavern. There is limited parking on Church
premises but parking is permitted in the road.
An asterisk * denotes that the event is not arranged by the Association.

“Playing with Numbers" - Talk by Cyril Smith. Raffle.
July 30
Cream Tea at 103 Ilsham Road, Torquay at 3.00 pm. Raffle.
August 19
Lunch at the Livermead Cliff Hotel, Torquay - 12 noon for 12.30 pm.
September 5
*Gorsedh Kernow - A Gathering of the
Bards of Cornwall
at the Longstone Park, Callington Road, Saltash PL12 6LA at
2.00 pm. All
are welcome, free of charge.
*Gorseth Concert of Cornish Music etc at Wesley Methodist Church, Callington Road, Saltash, PL12 6LA at 7.00 pm.
Featuring Burraton Male Voice Choir, Saltash
Town Band etc. Tickets £6 from Wesley, Guildhall and Piglets.

at St Nicholas & St Faith Anglican Church, Station Road , Saltash PL12 6AN at
3.00 pm.
All welcome whether Cornish speakers or not.
